Includes correspondence with his wife Anne Elizabeth (Jennings) Wise (1808-1837), sons Henry Alexander Wise (1834- 1869) and Obadiah Jennings Wise (1831-1862), and others. Also, includes other materials by or concerning Henry Alexander Wise and other members of the Wise family of Virginia.
